Last night’s 42-17 thrashing of the Denver Broncos was not the Detroit Lions’ most ferocious performance. That honor goes to the Lions’ official DJ, DJRAYYADIG, who played Future—the Grammy-winning rapper and father of Future Zahir Wilburn, Russell Wilson’s stepson—during pre-game warm-ups.

DJRAYYADIG played a nonstop onslaught of Future singles prior to Saturday night’s game, the former fiancé of Russell Wilson’s current wife, Ciara. The songs didn’t stop until the Broncos departed the field after warm-ups, according to MLive’s Kory E. Woods.

When Wilson and Ciara first started dating in 2015, DJ DV One of the Seattle Seahawks noted on how Future’s growing fame made it impossible to accommodate requests from team members who wanted to hear his songs during training camp.

“This year, I’ve been getting a lot of requests for Future,” DV One stated in September of 2015. “But that dynamic is also strange, because I can’t play Future with Ciara running around, and he’s her baby’s father.” It’s just that he has a dope-ass album out right now, players like to hear it, it definitely gets you psyched up—even if it’s low-tempo, it’s still things you want to hear—and then you have Ciara rushing up with little baby Future and she’s dating Russell, so it’s like, ‘Oh f—.'”

Future hasn’t been shy about taking shots at Wilson in his music, beginning more subtly with lines on the song “Rotation” from DS2 like, “Bitch, I’m getting the same money as Cam Newton, ask me how it feels to be a millionaire” in reference to Newton’s five-year, $103.8 million contract extension in June of the 2015 season while Wilson was still on his four-year, $2.99 million rookie contract—Wilson would sign his first big extension a couple Future dropped the subtle approach to say, “I got it out the field, f— Russell” on the song “Turn Yo Clic Up” in July, in cooperation with fellow Atlanta-native rapper Quavo.

Wilson had one of his worst games of the season against the Lions on Saturday, tying his season low in completion percentage (56.3%) and committing a turnover on the Broncos’ first drive after being strip-sacked by Ifeatu Melifonwu.
